History Moving Company Amsterdam - Fa. PM de Wit & Zn
Rond 1930 vertrok Petrus Maria de Wit met zijn gezin vanuit Landsmeer naar Amsterdam om daar een verhuisbedrijf over te gaan nemen.
Het verhuisbedrijf in Amsterdam is in 1923 opgericht. Vanaf 1 februari 1931 werd de naam P.M. de Wit en zonen. Het verhuisbedrijf groeide langzaam maar zeker uit tot gerenommeerde erkende verhuizer op de Amsterdamse verhuismarkt.
In de zestiger jaren droeg Petrus Maria de zaak over aan zijn 3 zonen, Nico, Piet en Jan. Zij hebben het verhuisbedrijf verder opgebouwd en deden het bedrijf in 1987 over aan Jan de Wit (kleinzoon) en Richard Combee. In 2018 hebben de 2 zonen van Richard, Mike en Jeffrey Combee, de zaak van hun vader overgenomen. Jan de Wit is nog steeds actief in het verhuisbedrijf en spreekt dagelijks met veel plezier zijn klanten.
De manier van werken is in de afgelopen bijna 100 jaar behoorlijk veranderd. In de beginjaren werd er nog ingepakt met kranten maar tegenwoordig wordt er gebruik gemaakt van degelijke verhuisdozen en inpakmaterialen. Was vroeger een verhuisauto, een paar kisten en een touw met blok voldoende, vandaag de dag beschikt Verhuisbedrijf Amsterdam - P.M. de Wit & Zn over een opslagloods in Amsterdam voor de opslag van uw inboedel of kunst met een capaciteit van meer dan 5000 m³, meerdere vrachtwagens, verschillende soorten verhuisliften en nog veel meer hulpmiddelen om uw verhuizing tot een goed eind te brengen.
Onze opslagruimte in Amsterdam is goed bereikbaar en u kunt gratis bij ons parkeren wat op niet veel plekken meer kan in Amsterdam. De verhuisopslag is beveiligd, verwarmd en goed verzekerd. Onze opslag in Amsterdam bieden wij aan met een flexibele contractduur en u huurt al een ruimte vanaf 1,50 euro per dag!
